Bela’s IDEAS: March 5, 2024

March 5, 2024 issue of Bela’s IDEAS, featuring Bela admitting to having the plague, plus bits of Latinas surviving toxic jobs, free nonprofit resources, and an accessibility guide for Word and PowerPoint.

COVID is Gross

I managed to last 4 years and I finally got COVID. If I sound excited saying that, trust me: I'm not. I am thankful, though, that being extremely precautious and fully vaccinated helped me avoid it for this long.

But when you're disabled, especially with rare disorders, it's not always an easy decision to seek care. Over the weekend, I shared 4 Reasons Why Going to the Doctor While Disabled is a Gamble For Me on LinkedIn.

I also invited (actually, borderline begged) y'all to overload me with pet memes, photos, and videos while I rest and recover. My socials are further down in this quickie newsletter. You can always just hit reply, too. I always write back. Inundate me with adorable doggos and all kinds of floof-balls. Please and thank you. 😊
