Bela’s IDEAS: June 18, 2024

June 18, 2024 issue of Bela’s IDEAS, featuring Bela admitting to being a weirdo, plus bits of communication and language guidance, disability justice, social justice/human rights, and LGBTQ+ Pride.

It Hurts So Good

I had some energy over the weekend to do some house cleaning. It was also fueled by having an internet technician come to the house and needing to be a bit less cluttered. My living room looks amazing and it makes me feel so good... but damn, is my body sore and screaming at me for the torture I put it through!

That carries over into life a lot, doesn't it? Sometimes it's painful to make decisions, to make changes, and to start over. But often times, we're left feeling good afterwards. Not always - no "positive vibes", toxic positivity here - but when it does, I'm thankful for the little bit of pain I had to endure to reach a better place.

What about you? Can you relate to that? Or am I just a weirdo? Well, I think we already know the answer to that one! 😆
