Building an Inclusive Quality Assurance Rubric Course

Tired of accessibility that just checks boxes? Building an Inclusive Quality Assurance Rubric will help you move beyond compliance and create a truly inclusive learning experience for all. In this project-based course, you’ll collaborate with colleagues and build a custom framework. With access to weekly live sessions and peer feedback, you’ll leave with actionable strategies to implement.

Learn About Inclusive Accessibility

Exciting news! I am thrilled to announce my new course, “Building an Inclusive Quality Assurance Rubric,” which begins on March 27 in the Eduflow Academy! If you’ve followed me for even a short while, you know that I actively advocate for a move beyond compliance-based accessibility in favor of inclusive accessibility.

Inclusive accessibility is a concept I created out of frustration and, I’ll be honest, anger. I noticed that while content and spaces were “accessible”, this only was true in the sense that compliance, however that looks for each space, was met. It left me feeling as though the efforts to create these spaces were only due to obligation – not a desire to be inclusive and compassionate.

Inclusion doesn't exist if accessibility is lacking. You can't be inclusive if you leave out disabled folks.

Building an Inclusive Quality Assurance Rubric is housed on the Eduflow platform in their Eduflow Academy. One of the most exciting features of this course is that it is cohort-based, which means that you will have the opportunity to connect with and learn from like-minded peers!  This community-driven aspect of the course is a great way to stay motivated, make friends, and grow your network.

The course is also project-based, which means that you will be building your own custom quality assurance framework throughout the course and walking away with an actionable tool to integrate into your organization’s processes.  Additionally, Eduflow’s unique peer feedback activity will give you the opportunity to learn from others and give advice as you give anonymous feedback.

Finally, there will be optional live sessions every week with me to help you get the most out of the course.
